I'm around 1200 in rapid on this website, so yeah. I'd like some book recommendations for people my level. I'm also wondering if the book The Amateur's Mind is appropriate for my level. Thanks!

I would personally check Silman's guide to endgames and The Art of Attack by Vukovic

"The Amateur's Mind" by Jeremy Silman is appropriate for your level.  It's in the list.  However there are a couple of other books in the list which I indicate and recommend studying prior to it (as prerequisite material), for example "Weapons of Chess" by Bruce Pandolfini.

If you're a bit tech savvy , you can opt for Forward chess app and buy digital books from there.
