The book you most want (need) is Computer Chess Compendum by David Levy. It's very expensive, even on Amazon, but all 440 pages are worth every penny.
Other good books are:
Chess Skill in Man and Machine by Peter W. Frey
Chess and Computers by David Levy
Kasparov and Deep Blue - The Historic Chess Match Between Man and Machine by Bruce Pandolfini
Kasparov v Deeper Blue - The Ultimate Man v Machine Challenge by Daniel King
How To Get The Most From Your Chess Computer by Julio Kaplan
Computer Chess by Ludek Pachman & Vas I. Kuhnmund
How To Beat Your Chess Computer by Raymond Keene and David Levy
The Chess Computer Book by T.D. Harding
How Computers Play Chess by David Levy and Monty Newborn
I have all of these are books in my library. (But no, they are not for sale. Sorry.)
I am looking for material/literature on computing in chess, books/papers on computational approaches to chess analysis - anything on how chess computers work (preferably not historical chronicling), math in chess, and the like. I am open to all suggestions, and I would be even more interested in technical mathy stuff.
