Hello, i need to read some books or work on some equipments about evaluating positions, can you recommend a book for 2200+ for just evaluate positions and insights about certain positions(like ideas and attacking ideas instead of just moves) What i mean is that random positions and making ideas out of them, talking about the pawn structres, their pros-cons and how to restructre them and possible maneuvers and just the evaluation

For what you're expecting, you're better off hiring a chess coach.

Jacob Aagaard's books are excellent for advanced players.  I particularly like his award winning two-volume set....

Attacking Manual, Volumes 1 & 2  by Jacob Aagaard...

also....

Thanks for the recommendations, the second book seems like my kind of book, i'm already reading it. I'm looking forward for the other recommendations about evaluation.

Test Your Positional Play by Pietro Ponzetto and Robert Bellin

Is out of print, but a fun and instructive book.

The whole book is set up that you're given a position, and the author explains 3 very different plans you could choose. For example I'll trade this piece and go for the better endgame, or I'll use my extra space to attack the kingside, etc. And they give a convincing argument for each of the 3 plans (if I recall correctly, about 0.5 - 1 page is devoted to making an argument for each plan).

But only 1 of them is actually good, and you have to choose. Then in the answer section they explain why other other choices were bad or mediocre and why the best plan is correct.

Not really a 2200+ book, but be careful because authors / reviews usually use FIDE ratings... if a book is recommended for 2200+ then that person's chess.com would be more like 2400 or 2500 blitz.

@llama47 thanks for the book i'm looking at it right now, seems pretty useful! Well i think chess.com blitz rating is at least showing some level, as not the exact level, there is something if i dont have any fide rating, right?

I just wanted to mention the rating, because maybe someone tells you try to Dvoretsky or Aagaard (which are probably fine for you) but they will probably be very challenging, because those books are more for players with a master title like CM or FM, and give lots and lots and lots of analysis. Instead of "this is a good idea for this position" it might show 2 pages of variations tongue.png
