starter is fine, you have to learn to annotate games by yourself 
also just download TWICS if you need more games...
Megabase! no one needs the extras of premium but with just the big you will regret it. commented games and updates is just great.

I have a problem. I downloaded Chessbase 14 to my computer off a disc. It came with Big Database 2018. Everything was just fine until I noticed the mouse wheel function would not work. I read the instructions on how to solve the problem. Go to options ff the main menu and then open up the miscellaneous folder and click on mouse wheel. Click apply and then ok. So, I did that and it still didn't work. I e-mail chessbase people and they said there was a problem with the mouse I had. I tried everything to correct this problem as I love to scroll through games using the mouse instead of doing moves one at a time. I found nothing wrong with the mouse. I even tried another mouse and again nothing. Everything I do with the mouse on my computer is fine except fort Chessbase 14. I have Fritz 12 and 16 and the mouse works fine on them. I even have an old copy of Chessbase 9 and the mouse works fine there. The only conclusion I was able to make is that an error occurred when I downloaded Chessbase 14 from the disc. My next step is to uninstall Chessbase 14 and then reinstall yet but haven't done so. I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble with mouse wheel functions on Chessbase 14?

By the way I updated my version of ChessBase 14 before contacting Chessbase support. And, I have windows 10 operating system.
I was just wondering, which ChessBase package do you guys recommend? I was thinking about getting the premium package, but should I? Please comment below. Thanks!
