Chessbazaar size

I have recently received a set, and after about a week, I noticed that one set of queens is about 1/16” shorter than the other color. Is this acceptable/unacceptable? Should I let it bother me? Or just move on and worry about more important things in life. Other than that it is a really nice set.

I think for it being a Queen (spares) and 0.0625 inch difference, it probably isn't a big deal for me personally, though it internally would haunt me in my conscience, just a little bit.

Pictures?

I did and I got this canned answer:

Please accept our sincere apologies for the problem that you have encountered.

the chess pieces are handcrafted by our artisans and it is very difficult to standardize handmade products. However, our carvers try their level best to achieve as much depth as possible.

We can assure you that you will not face any issues with the queens during the play.

Thanks for your understanding in the matter.

Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

That’s why I was wondering if I should just let it go.

They are posted in another thread. Anyway, I think I have my answer. Thanks to all.

My SC 3.5" Morphy ebony king is 3.5" while the replacement boxwood king is only 3.325. It is somewhat noticeably shorter. I realized this long after Mandeep sent it to me. It bugs me but I know I am a bit of a perfectionist. I decided to just let that go and just enjoy using the set when I have it out. Having said that it is up to you if the difference is acceptable or not.
