Just the facts -- draw your own conclusion:
1) Ordered some chess products from ChessSetsStore.com and got an automated confirmation but then did not recieve a shipping acknowledgement, or backorder notice.
2) Inquired via both their support form and via email -- no response, other than an auto-responder once again.
3) Called their toll free number which goes to a teleservice center and they report that they "do not have a current contact number that that website".
4) Street address for the business is actually for a residence in Vegas, and reverse address lookup yields the name of a fine art store in New Hampshire, LOL.
5) Then I check paypal and the payment is both unclaimed and routed to a gmail email address that is unregistered (i.e. not associated with a paypal account). So easy enough to cancel transaction but...
*** some boku caveat emptor seems warranted here ***
Know a bit about e-commerce, so intend to do some further checking and will post if I find anything further out.
