Quite pleased with this board. 2.25-inch maple and bloodwood squares, with a 2-inch cherry border. Stacks flat and joins are almost imperceptible, with strong magnets. Nice smooth finish without being overly slick. Learned about the maker in this forum and I think he offers great value. Quite pleasant to work with as well. My only regret was forgetting to ask for a maker's mark.

That my friend is a nice board. Beautiful wood and I'm a huge fan of the quadrant division! It makes it so much easier to transport nice sets like that

Thanks for the kind words everyone! Planning to have a leather case made for it.

Thanks for bringing these boards to my attention, Gorski00! I received mine a couple of days ago, and I couldn't be happier with it. I chose a borderless 2.25 inch maple and sapele board.

I like the board with the border , just personal taste, although I know that makes the "package" bigger to carry around. The board with the border looks thinner than the one without but that may be the way the picture was taken.

Hi. Lovely boards! How thick are they?

Hey all,

How do you like these board after having them for a bit? Do they still sit nice and flat?

Just about to pull the trigger on one and thought I'd ask...
