You set up the board incorrectly. White on the right. Queen on her color.
That right there cuts the value.

Thanks for your reply. Only thing is, the alphabet and letters are in English. Just look foreign cause of the style they’re written in. I made the same mistake myself though at first glance.
I want to say these are Slavic or Russian. There's a similar set available now, however which the seller says is Polish. I remember this exact set being available new somewhere maybe 10 years ago online and maybe it still is just not being sold online or I'm not finding it and I want to say it was Russian but I may be remembering wrong.
@tmkroll
That’s really interesting info. Thank you. Could you provide me a link to the set the person is saying is polish please.
this: https://www.chessusa.com/product/41-227.html?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyMra9dWX3AIVBZppCh1GRgWLEAkYDyABEgJp2_D_BwE but yeah, it's not the same set by any stretch, just similar chip carving with faces. It's pretty easy to find sets that are more like yours on Google but they're in like Pinterest or eBay and things without information on their origin.
Hi, I’ve just purchased this chess set from eBay. The seller has no idea where it originates from as he bought it at a car boot sale.
I was wondering if you may have seen a chess set like this before and possibly know its origin and/or value.
Many Thanks.
