DGT Smart Board instruction questions

I bought one of the non- bluetooth DGT Smart Boards.  The instructions are terrible and, while I feel like I have found excellent YouTube videos to instruct me on every aspect of fixing my house, I cannot find one good video giving any sort of depth of how to set up the DGT smart board to 1) play and 2) broadcast a game.  Can anyone help me with:

1)  Can anyone direct me to any videos that give good in-depth instructions on how to use the numerous features (not one of the numerous "unboxing" videos that are useless

2)  I installed Fritz14 and all the DGT software to my computer.  When I attached the USB to my computer and then the connection to the board, nothing seems to happen.  When I start "DGT Board Tester" and then press Connect, nothing happens.  When I go into the DGT Rabbit PlugIn, and press Connection, it states "No board found".  Can anyone give me some ideas about what I can do to get the board to be recognized

Thanks

DGT e-board is a real headache! One moment the board is live, next moment the board is dead!

Hi, some help in a random order:
- When you launch the DGT Rabbit Plugin and choose to connect, pay attention to the fact that there is a drop-down menu, by which you select the (serial) port that you want to connect thru. Better said: you select a COM port, and "test" it, to see if the DGT is connected to that board. If no DGT is found, than the connection is not established, and you get a red "No board found" alert. In this case, you select a different COM port, until you find it, the alert becomes green and you're all set.
- In ChessBase programs, under "Board", there is a checkbox named "use DGT board". You need to check it, to use the DGT connected to Fritz.
Hope this helps.
