Doubling My Chess Library

I've just bought 2 books to expand my collection to a massive 4 volumes!

Two of them were old books which I've had for many years ... real beginner's books printed in the 1940s/1950s ... they're probably not bad (of their type).

The two new ones are Fred Reinfeld's 1001 Sacrifices & Combinations and his 1001 Brilliant Ways to Checkmate.

I went for these two first because Tactics Trainer has helped me such a lot, and they are in a similar vein. I can peruse them at my leisure whilst ensconed in the khazi.

The Checkmate one I got shipped brand new from a UK supplier for a Lady Godiva (£5 + postage), but the other one I had to order from the States ... there don't seem to be any on Ebay, surprisingly. I paid around 20 bucks for that.

Yes, I found a pdf file but it was semi-legible 

The book is better, but not all that much
