The queen pictured on the left is the original. While the right queen pictured is from the clone set. I actually like them both. Drueke has better lines but the clone is do able and gives nostalgia without the worry of breakage when playing.

If the bottoms of the more affordable Drueke sets are weighted and stable for speed chess, I'd buy one.
When posting pictures of plastic pieces, especially for comparison purposes, it would be helpful to make the vertical seams of the pieces visible in the photos if possible....
Bill Drueke sent me his shopify website that has more products and configured to ship outside of US. Click on Chess Pieces to see the products.

@sound67 - I know you have eagle eyes. Have you handled original Drueke Player's Choice plastic pieces? How do you like them compared to plastic pieces from Wholesale Chess?
The photos of the Drueke pieces on the website are very poor, grainy, especially when you click on them (when they are magnified). Like they were taken with a cheap cell phone. Looking at the Knights, they look suspect as well. Doesn't inspire much confidence in the production quality of the set.

Yes, i got the set, I don't recommend it, bubbles, various flaws. The newest run of HOS wooden replica of Drueke is great, very pleased with that.
I think that 3D printing might be the best way for someone at home who has a 3D printer and the know how to do it.
I don't make the pieces but I can beat him on the price for the board. Check out https://www.etsy.com/shop/ColoradoWoodWorker and use coupon code DRUEKE10 for 10% off. I mean it is hard to beat the original but I am going to try.
I would definitely pick one of these up when it is offered in natural/red.
