I believe the series are roughly the same books but updated andf with minor corrections and additions. Also there was a switch in publishers from an earlier series of five books. So I would go with the newest set (which I think is the Excellence set)

Hello everyone, my otb rating is around 1820. I had a question about Dvoretsky's series School of Future Champions and School of Chess Excellence. Which one should I startt with. I understand that these are both complicated series. Does one lead into another or does it really matter?
