Does anyone know anything about GoChess? How it compares to the other e-boards.

I own the GoChess Lite Modern and the GoChess Mini. I also own the Square Off Grand Kingdom, Square Off Neo, Square Off Pro, Chessnut Go Ultimate and the Chessnut EVO and lastly Chess Up 2.

The quality of the GoChess boards is equal if not better than the others. The boards are very thin and the LED hint system works well although like the rest of the companies that have hints they only work locally not online. The GoChess Lite Modern has incredible looking pieces and the feel is great as is the weight. I can play a lot of games over a few days on a single battery charge. My three favorite boards in order are 1) Chessnut EVO, 2) GoChess Lite Modern, 3) Square Off Neo robotic board and 4) Chessnut Go.

I have the GoChess Harry Potter board. I love the board! I do have an issue. The ELO is way off. At level 8 (900) the board is playing way above. I matched it against the abominable chessman (1825) and the “900” bot won. During the evaluation, chess.com set the evaluation for the go chess board at 2100. That’s a sharp learning curve for anyone trying to use it for training.

Happy New Year everyone !

I'd like to ask you if it's possible to play against Chess dotcom and Lichess bots with the GoChess.

Thanks and all the best !

P.S. I hope the GoChess will be supported by Chessconnect and Graham's drivers someday, it would be nice.

It’s a bit of a weird interface. You select play opponent online, then select bots and go from there. This is for chess.com and you have to sync your chess.com account before hand.

I would like to express my view on the Go Chess mini. I've had a blast with it. The support is very good. I asked about the glitch with level 8, next day the update came and it was FIXED. I was also told a hack to be able to play the bots on there too which takes it to a new level. For me, I play better on a board so win win for anyone who's buys one
