they have wifi, it is spotty, slow, and expensive.
You can play the bots on Chess.com while your phone is in airplane mode. I just tested it. No need to buy a handheld if you have a smart phone.
In a few months will be on a cruise with no cell service, wife is worried I will go into chess withdrawal.
