I’ve only just noticed, but the crenelation cuts are not vertical, they’re slightly at a tilt. The photo doesn’t really show it too well but there’s a distinct angle on the cuts.

This my ‘other’ much loved set, 4” king, weighted and with a lovely patina. I’m intrigued by the crenelations, six but one distinctly larger than the other five. Could this help identify the set? Knights with undrilled eyes. Bought about 10 years ago without a box so that’s no help.
Is it British?
