It's interesting to hear Naka's opinion on the FIDE Official World Chess pieces. He has real OTB tournament experience with the World Chess pieces. And since he's not officially "on tour" nowadays — preferring to stream full time — he's not afraid to speak his mind.

I have held the World Chess Knight. In my opinion, the original 2013 skinny neck Knight was beautifully designed and carved.  Feels great in the hand. But when World Chess redesigned the Knight by making it stockier, they unintentionally made it unstable. Almost top heavy. It's just not all that stable to play with. I just cannot recommend it anymore. It sadly is no longer in my "Want List".

Unless of course an ORIGINAL 2013 World Chess set pops up on the used market. Then all bets are off.
