How do we pin topics?

Probably more of a question for forum moderators/chess.com; how do we pin topics/threads? I think it would be very helpful to a pin few things in this particular forum, such as:

  • Book Recommendations:
    • Openings
    • Middlegame
    • Endgame
    • Tactics
    • General Instruction
    • Annotated Games/Games Collections
    • General/History/Entertainment
    • Other
  • Book Publisher/Retailer List and Reviews
  • Equipment Manufacturer/Retailer List and Reviews
  • Equipment Care/Maintenance

We should also have something along the lines of a "Read Before You Post!" thread about how to use the search function before asking a question etc.
