Being pewter it's unlikely that it's entirely unique, though it could still be extremely hard to track down. The first thing to do is to carefully check every piece and the board for any unusual marks that could give you a clue as to who made it. Finding an approximate date would also help.

This chess set was given to me by a freind. It is White and Black marbel with what appear to be pewter peices, the "White" having a golden finish. I would love to know who made it and where it was manufactured. Is it one of a kind?Does anyone know how I could go about finding that information?
