I have a small neatly made chess board which my father got from one of grandma's neighbours.(he was very old and my father was just a kid). I'm guessing it must be made somewhere in the late 40s or maybe before that. The board has 9 men's morris gameboard on the other side, and a backgammon layout on the inside.. I have all the original pieces (3 black pawns were redone because they were chipped/broken). I would really love to find out it's origins from the looks of it could be more than 100 yrs old. Anyone know any website/forum where you can find out of this kind of stuff?
