is "Chess Fundamentals" worthy?

I know that Capablanca wrote a book, "Chess fundamentals", which is also available for free online, but I prefer the papery version. I was wondering if it's worth buy, because most of the concept in the book can be found in other modern books, explained well and with modern theory. What really interest me are the 14 games commented by Capablanca himself.

I have it, it' s worth, keep in mind that is "fundamentals", i mean it won't ever be dated for that same reason, but you won't get advanced lessons on it. But it's just right for people who's just beginning to play.

Botvinnik thought it was the greatest primer on the fundamentals ever written.

Based on your rating, it might be a better idea to become a little more familiar with board awareness before you jump into a book. Just play some games and focus mainly on not losing pieces or pawns.

I have the book as well,it is an excellant book. It  is in algebraic notation and contains chapters on opening, middle game, and endgame theory and technique;as well as a short collection of master games. It is a solid investment for anyone rated under 1400.

Botvinnik was alive before 99.9% of chess books now extant were written.
