It could be a Chavet, but I don't think it's the No.6 93mm set. It could be one of the smaller sets. The bishop on the No.6 Chavet has a fat, squashed top, with a flattish ball on top. This bishop's upper features seem more spherical to me. I think some of the smaller sets may have looked like that. That's my initial reaction at least. That being said there was some subtle variation in Chavet sets over different years. Some better pics might help you out. Seems like a good set to be curious about, especially if it's cheap! And to answer your question, no it doesn't look like the latest Chavet version. The Queen's top makes that clear.
Is this chavet 90's one ?

Agreed. This looks like a size 3 or 4 (possibly a 5?). Did the seller mention a size?
There is a size 6 for sale here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264992363471?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338722076&toolid=10001 I'm surprised nobody has pounced on this. This is a later B210 used in the 1995 Kasparov v Anand match. If I'm not mistaken the pieces are actually very dark brown not black as they appear in the photos and will mellow to a nice brown colour over time. Depends on how much you want to spend.

The one off eBay is nice, but has a few defects. Pics don't show the pieces justice. We will see... Will let you know once I know more from the seller. Board and pieces are on sale for €100 , bargain if it is an old set.
Yes, it is a nice old set, regardless of size and looks to be in good condition. You're right about the one on ebay. The pictures aren't great. They also make the set look jet black which I don't think it is (I could be wrong?). The few defects are easily repaired and £499 is a reasonable price for a B210 with Chavet box. I did just notice that the seller has restricted sale of the set to the UK which cuts down his market quite a bit.

The bishop and queen as so similar. I am waiting for pic of the box. Thanks in advance chavet expert.
