Wow!!! That board is amazing. It compliments the Lardy very nicely. Lights squares with that vintage patina is rare. Being a borderless board makes that even more rare.
Nice acquisitions mr. Michael, and at a very good price. The Lardy match perfectly with that solid board!
Nice find! That's a solid very good looking set with quality board too 👌
Edit: that board seems familiar, it could very well be a Rechapados board.
Got this Looping "Chess Champion" clock. It seems to be NOS (New Old Stock) as the certificate of guarantee is blank, there is even still a tag included. It runs soooo smoooooth, nice nice

Very nice rare find / MR TOCM just got a early GARDE waiting for the post man
I am a fan of the Heuer/Looping clock. That's a nice find. As for the board, I just love boards that have that vintage color/patina. That Lardy is nice too and it really looks like wood as you mentioned.

The Heuer / looping , looks like Ferdinand Alexander Porsche had a hand in it - a real beauty
As for my early GARDE / I have it now will post a photo soon / A east german beauty
Actually, Heuer never made a chess clock. They were the sole distributor of Looping chess clock. Most of the Looping you'll still find are rebadged Heuer brand, only small percentage are Looping own brand.
Mister Light, I have a story about Garde for you. My first and only clock was a Garde 2nd gen when I was a kid. After I quit playing chess, I gave it to my brother in law. Last year I asked him if I can have my clock back but he won't give it back so I bought another one that looks like what I had. Now I have the collecting fever, I keep adding clocks from time to time lol
Found a nice Drueke no. 62 board and this funny looking set today. Any idea where it's from? Some random bazaar in Asia maybe?
@mister lotsoblots yes the same. I used to play it as a kid, forgot what's called here.
@mister buddy Chavet is a toy manufacturer, they still make kids wooden toys these days.
The one with the colored horses is called "jeu des petits chevaux" or "jeu de dada" in French, loosely translated to small horses / horsies game. It indeed seems to be based on Pachisi/Parcheesi. The other one is called "jeu de l'oie" for Game of the Goose.
