Hi! I used the "old school" Beating The Sicilian by Joe Gallger. He has 3 books on this system and they are all very solid and aggresive. The added bonus now would be that since they are 90's books the lines are not really sued nowadays so it will be more surprise value. He also has some books on Kings Gambit. The ruy lopez is all about pawn structure thats why GM's always say that when you master this system you will master chess. Its true because every variation brings about different pawn structures, locked k-side versus q-side, open games, closed games, endgames, sharp middlegames, long opening traps, etc.. Daniel King has a great book on this opening that explains themes and variations. I recommend using a new version of Chessbase to see any new opening analysis with these older books. There should not be much difference however. A solid system against the sicilian is the Kings Indian Attack and Leonid Shamkovich has a great red book on this. Its very modern to this say and many of the ideas remain the same. It also has a bonus of giving a chapter on how Bobby Fischer used this line, article includes 4 games with in depth analysis! http://secrets-of-chess.blogspot.com

I like "The Modern Morra Gambit" by Hannes Langrock for the white side of the Sicilian, but you'll need additional references for handling the declined lines of the gambit.

Andrew Greets lopez is excellent. Covers the move by move of all spanish but have to like 5 qe2 which covers about half the book and is the main subject.
