Something like the old Chess Type Stamping Outfit

Avatar of Chesss_Username

I made some myself when I had a laser engraver, but recently I asked someone on etsy to make me a set of chess stamps based on my files and they turned out pretty good. Unmounted though. You could talk to the seller about mounting. AsspocketProductions.etsy.com. Tell her you are interested in the chess stamps null

Brown Mega, what were the dimensions of the board that you had made?

Cool!

Seems like these ought to be relatively easy to find, they were quite commonly used for correspondence chess along with postcards formatted with a board and spaces for hand-writing the moves. I probably have a set buried somewhere.

So the whole set of photopolymer board and chess piece stamps was around $20 USD for me in 2019. You can either mount them on wood or acrylic or ask her to mount them for you. That will add to the cost.

I found a custom rubber stamp store in NYC and had them make me a set that they had on file that was originally commissioned by William James Lombardy, who lived in my neighborhood. I added the Black/White to move stamps to the set. Bought from Casey Rubber Stamps.

That set looks excellent. Good idea about the white to move / black to move stamps.

Where'd you get these stamp pieces and which mark is which? Be curious to see what the full set looks like.

When I had access to a laser engraving machine, I made the board and symbols in Corel Draw and sent them to the machine. Also made these wooden pieces using Corel Draw.

But you can send drawings to someone online who makes custom rubber stamps or photo polymer stamps. Photopolymer stamps are going to cost less.

There is no piece sex or religious connotations or monarchy connotations with these symbols.
