DesperateKingWalk

Tal chess set pawn in Golden Rosewood.

PD- Remember to put a blue box around your photo. And slightly shrink the size. This will fix your cropping issue. You can also do this again by editing your post.

Thanks DKW and to acknowledge your advice before…. I appreciate that too. My issue is I’m a bit p’d off with the app/site because 98% of the time I am using either the app or the site via web on mobile. This means that to load a photo - I can’t use the app, I have to go to the mobile site and then I’m uploading off my phone with just the Apple native editing software (which I like) but can’t see how to place a box around the photo… and even then a bummer that I need too. What bothers me is that I used to just make a tiny edit - a crop, a light adjustment and all was fine. In truth I’m very, very close to dropping off the forum for this reason - it shouldn’t be this hard to load photos - and plus, all the crap floating around - no fingers being pointed in any direction … simply, I just come here to learn, hopefully provide some insights to help others and to have some fun but alas — that all getting too hard and life’s to short to be bothered by my hobby; I’m here to enjoy it.

Hey, it´s a chess forum, not a photo forum. I can symphatize with your frustration but your pics are OK (and I really like those hat wearing fellows...).

DesperateKingWalk

It is ok. We can always left click on the photo. And put your photo into its own tab. So we can see your photos as you intended.

I´m to old to use my phone to edit pictures or post on the forum. I absolutely hate the touch screen interface and the screen is far to small for anything but reading a telephone number.

mmmph. Pawnography 🫠 ... my greatest weakness. They're all future queens to me. 😏

Pawns from the RCM Botvinnik-Flohr I (-33) set.

helluva-loss

You all joke about it now- but I have a feeling there's at least one person on this planet with a genuine chess fetish😭

Well, everyone needs a hobby.

Two of my favorites, a Knubbel repro set and the Filipino set I obtained from Holger (@EfimLG47) for what I consider a steal based on how lovely the set is.

Knubbel first, then the Narra and Kamagong wood set from the Phillipines:

Love both of these sets, and I have others that I like as well.
