PlyCounter - No service, No response, dead unit under warrenty

've had a Plycounter since April 2016 and have had no issues with it till last week.

 

I saw that the app had an update so I updated it while my Plycounter was still connected to my PC.  The program on the PC updated but all I haves on my Plycounter now is a white screen.   I've tried combinations of button, power, etc but it remains dead.

I have emailed multiple times with no response.

I have tried to tweet to them but evidently they don't allow incoming tweets.

I have tried their Facebook page but my message never gets posted

Back when I was first considering buying the unit I sent in questions via email and never got responses.  I found the answers elsewhere and went ahead and bought the unit.

So, evidently they will sell you a unit but will otherwise not communicate with you.

 

My unit is still covered under the 1 year warranty yet I cannot get an RMA number from them as they require.

I am very disappointed.  They do not seem "reputable to me" at this time. 

I would have to recommend that you do not purchase the PlyCounter at this time unless you want to gamble that your unit will work forever (and their software won't wipe it out).

PlyCount is USCF certified I believe, so maybe a complaint to USCF is in order?

Your Plycounter problems are the exact same problems I'm having!  I've tried multiple times to get Plycount Support to respond and help me resolve the problem but they are non-existent!  It makes me sick that I spent almost $200 on this worthless piece of junk that is now nothing but an expensive paper weight!  I can't believe the USCF backs this company!  I've also tried Twitter and can't get a response out of them .  If they ever get back with you and have a solution to our problem, I wish you'd share it with me!   Thanks..

I have the original, and except for the very first one i received (it flat out didnt work) I was sent a new one, and have not had any problems.  Plycount came out with an "updated" model, and its looking like its nothing but problems from the complaints i have seen.

What's the latest software version of PlyCounter on Mac? I have version 1.13 from 2015.

The software no longer appears to be available, anywhere, for either Mac or PC.

Not sure if the folks on this post are still looking for a solution. I have 4 devices and they are all still working well. One thing I have seen is screen calibration can cause white screen. If you recalibrate your screen it seems to fix the issue. Good luck!

I bought the original PlyCounter unit in 2015 and fortunately, at least for now, it is still working. However, I have purchased some new machines and would like to download to them from my PlyCounter. As discussed elsewhere, their website is down and the company is not offering any support. 

Does anyone have a copy of the download software for Windows? Perhaps it can be copied to a disk and mailed.
