About 2.73 lbs. according to their website. Not a super heavy set but good enough to play blitz with. Now they are selling it for $150. Glad I got it when I did.
Since COVID-19 with the combination of The Queens Gambit. There has been a chess explosion. I wanted to share a chess set I ordered right around the time India was placed on lockdown due to COVID-19. It was around March or April when I ordered this set in 2020. Didn't receive it until June or July 2020. Here's the set that was effected by COVID-19 lockdown.
The Fischer/Spassky Championship set from Royal Chess Mall, Ebonized Boxwood version. It was around $80 at the time I bought it.
So what set did you purchase last year that was effected by the big COVID-19 lockdown in the spring of 2020? Post which set got super delayed due to shutdown.
