Post Your Chess Sets

It seems there is a whole world of chess set vendors in Latin America for collectors to explore.
Indeed!
I really like these Latin American sets. I especially like the lines and forms of the various pieces and sets.
I wouldn't mind buying a few of these. They look like they would be very nice to play a game with.

Today arrived this set. The king's height is 3", bases are 1".
One black knight has a smaller base, but the heads are the same.
Nice set!

Here is a more humble set. My good old trusty wood set and clock. It is simple but I love its worn look.
Looks great. Left similar one long time ago in a cafe where I played regulary. It was unweighted and was not felted. Djee I loved that set.

Great set, Info. I especially love the well-carved knights.

Nice set Roberto, I never had seen that chess model before.
Can be bought online?
www.clubescaque.com.mx Pregunta por el modelo "Tigre".
RobertoLM, after looking at the sets you have picture for a few days, I have decided.
I want to get this set:
I also still want this set, to use with the kids in the school Chess Club I run:
Now, on the second one, I have contacted the place but the lady dropped the ball over the last weekend.
Anyway, is the first set still being made and sold? If it is, can you direct us to a way to buy it?
And if you know of another way to get the fun, second set, I would appreciate it. Well, my kids in the club certainly would appreciate it.

RobertoLM...nice avatar! A favorite of mine. Retzsch's "Die Schachspieler", taking their game seriously.

Those sets posted by Roberto are new to me (except the "Omcor" Eqqus), I was used to those small and cheap wooden Mexican sets. I learned how to play the game with those. My father still has some of them. :-)
It seems that there are sets of better quality in México, but they have a limited production. I guess every "chess artisan" has his own model, and he is the only one who makes it.
Other latinamerican countries have nice sets also:
Have you seen the Argentinian "Ajedrez Olímpico King"? It was made after the sets used in the 1978 chess olympiad in Argentina. I tried to get one, but I haven't been lucky. (They don't make it anymore)
Brazil has some great sets also. Those Amazonia Premiere and Braganca are beautiful. (They don't make it anymore also)
I got one Amazonia Premiere a few months ago (The one of the picture). Still waiting for my cousins to bring it from the US. With a couple of more chess stuff of course.
Buying that Regence chess set was pure magic cgrau. The gambit was a complete success :-)
The set in the small picture, where is it listed?, please

I like the knight design on this set of mine:
Dude, for the love of God , how do you get a roll up board to stay so perfectly flat ? that is amazing!

All silicon boards stay flat. Much better than vinyl in this respect.

sorry for being so old I didn't know that

If can't say that 100 ; at least 99 % of the Mexican players had our first approach to the game in a classic board of Teocaltiche (usually; a very small one).

So. Thanks robust, little and cute T. Chess.
