How can I do that with my Android phone?

WoodUMakeIt

Here's a board that I made last summer out of wenge and curly maple for a fellow in Texas. It also has a bit of padauk and ebony to add to the design. I just released a video so you can see how I made it.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipCyrXgr5RQ

I didn't know you were on these forums.  I absolutely love your videos and chess boards. I'll definitely enjoy watching this video and hope you keep making them.

magictwanger

LOVE that board!

@WoodUMakeIt

The same with me. I know your channel and it is sadisfying for me to watch your videos.

Thanks for your nice words, Yes that's true, without beginners, the pros wouldn`t even shine, because than it wouldn't be something special to be good at chess.

What I like at chess is:

I can grab exactly my stupidity and study how my dumpness works.

New accounts can’t post links or images. Had this issue myself on my first thread just the other day heh.

also apparently can even mention certain popular image sites, every time I did it told me I couldn’t post links or images hahah.

I could not figure out how to post pics from my cell phone. I had to use my laptop. It looks to me like there are many things that can only be accessed by a laptop.

I do everything from phone. There are a few things for sure, but most can be done from cell, including pictures!

Using the chess.com app on your phone, or using a browser on your phone? I can't post pics using the app on my phone.

jay_1944

Oh yes, not the app sorry. Using Chrome browser.

IpswichMatt

That makes sense. I hope the mods aren't reading this, but ... I don't think the app is as good as it could be.

I post pics all the time with the standard browser from my Dubrovnik phone....errrr...Android phone!

My newest set. Staunton Candidate Series with 4.2” kings, and a standard House of Staunton chess board with 2.5” squares. I love these pieces. They feel great, and the leather pads instead of felt pads feel great.

The board is really nice, and the pieces are glossy and fantastic! Although I don't typically like "glossy" pieces, they are quite lovely!

JugglinDan

Hmm, I missed quite a bit.

@Minuskel

Thanks for your comments. And the set you posted looks amazing. You must have some other truly beautiful pieces to consider selling that one.

I am sure you have worked it out by now, but Lardy was a French company that produced their own version of the Staunton design.

I took a closer photo of my pieces, and they are characteristically Lardy-styled:

Those pieces look great. Can you post a photo of the knight?
