The Real 3D board for live chess in chess.com doesn't meet the standards of chess equipment for FIDE tournaments described in article №3 of the FIDE handbook. According to the latter, "the size of a square should be twice the diameter of a pawn’s base". This is not the case with the board, which has squares of smaller relative size:

However, article №8 of the handbook states unambiguously that "manufacturers of equipment and organisers are completely free to make and use their own equipment for all other competitions", whereby this disparity does not breach FIDE's regulations and should cause no major upset among players.
