Writing software is a doddle compared to making and designing new hardware. 

Presumably they already have the piece movement part of the software written, or else how is it already working? 

Kickstarter?  I think that leaves me out.

Better call them and tell them exactly how you want the video, maybe you think they work for you... For skeptics, it's never enough...

Yes, it seems that only the easy part is pending (easy part compared to hardware). Obviously they have basic software for testing.

From an investor viewpoint it means I see some promise but have remaining questions.

What is your question?  You said "limited information". Your question is Why don't they show their technology to everyone? They have already revealed what the technology is based on: Electromagnets. What level of detail do you want?

It is not appropriate to misrepresent what people say, I didn't say anything about them showing their technology to everyone.

This is the second time you have responded to me with a condescending/sarcastic reply (in addition to similar replies to other posters). Your last reply to me accused me of being drunk. You are obviously a very aggressive individual and you need to calm down and respect other people's opinions and questions.
I have not previously criticised you in any way. Yes some people have been rude by calling the Regium project a scam without any evidence. I have not done that. I have reserved judgement on Regium because I simply don't know enough about it. I asked reasonable questions that any interested person would ask and I very much hope that the project succeeds. If you think the questions being asked by posters here are too difficult or cumbersome, try going to a bank or venture capitalist and see the kind of intense scrutiny/detail they require before investing in a venture.

The point is my personal fight against trolls, haters, liars, crap spreaders, and human stupidity in general. In your case, I don't like how you plant doubts about the clarity of the project. They have made an effort with a new video to respond to all trolls, and now, continuing to hear someone say that they do not give enough information is very offensive.

It may be offensive to you but my statements are accurate.  Read their website.  It is vague and provides minimal information.  

Unless you are lying about not being affiliated, their videos are not in response to comments made in this forum.

Regards the new video, I believe the Regium spokesperson says they are in discussions with chess.com, right? So, to help settle the real/not real debate - has chess.com commented on this and or seen a working board in the flesh ... or the mahogany or whatever?

You are incorrect, again.  They did not say the video was in response to this forum. It was sent in a promotional email.  Read their website, it has a minimal descriptions regarding technology.  Your efforts to sell this would be better spent on improving the website (also removing the statement about being compatible with an online platform that no longer exists).
