About five years ago I read Ward Farnsworth's Predator at the Chessboard. Since then, I have done done ~2000 tactics problems on ChessTempo.com and have achieved a ~1700 rating. I will continue to practice there, but I would also like to change up the format for my tactics practice.

  • CT-ART 4.0: Are exercises organized by theme or random? What is the difficulty like?
  • Polgar's 5334: Again, organization, difficulty, etc?
  • Please don't suggest the tactics trainer here, I dislike the blitz format and also, I prefer not to support this website when I can help it.

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!
