What Chess engine should i buy that costs under $69? My level is intermediate-ish

Fritz 16 seems like a fantastic product to study and learn from your games with your computer so it's definitely a great buy it if you can afford it without issues.
Personally, the last program I bought was... Fritz 7 many years ago Enjoyed it quite a bit but now I am simply happy with Stockfish for analysis purposes. To play and train against a computer, I actually like playing against the old programs from the late 1980s and early 1990s that had a strength between 1700-2000 (the original Fritz is free, for example). I prefer trying against the "real" program and not a dumbed down version of a modern engine that tries to play poor chess artificially by playing a weak move here and there (Fritz 16 seems to do this much better than previous programs, though, but I didn't have a chance to test it personally)

You don't need an engine at this level (well, kinda) but you should spend more time understanding principles, not just engines and tactics. Of course, I think you should do Fritz, Komodo... meh.

Aw, man, I paid infinitely more than 0$.
