As this question is about a journal, I think this forum is best suited.
I've been going through the issues of The Chess Monthly (1857-1861) and at the end of 1860, an announcement was made that both Morphy and Fiske were going to step down from their positions as editors. But in the last issues published in 1861, I have seen no mention of who the new editors were. I've searched online unsuccessfully. Now I'm really curious who picked the editorial duty and whether there was more of a story behind this change. Does anyone have more information on this?
TIA
