Well u know actually maybe for money just up to like 500 elo

But not 20 bucks an hour 😂 maybe 5 lol. Maybe 20 for kids if he’s a good teacher 🤷🏼‍♂️

a quarter an hour is more like it for the 100-300 elo range

Nah a 1200 can do some serious coaching with a 300

yeah ig mabye a 1200 could get a 300 to like 700

I just think based on professional coaches rates 20 is way too high for sure

Most openings are good and bad depending on how well players understand them and their purposes/ types of midgames they bring. As much as I don't want to be the guy who puts down another's attempt at income but you don't sound quite ready to instruct for hire good sir. But by all means help your local chess clubs with teaching newbies and promote this fine game! Just maybe wait until you're more fit to work as a coach .
