Not sure if you have resolved this yet, but I’d be interested in looking at some of your games & commenting at least.
I’ve tutored school subjects before but not much chess & would like more experience, so no charge. Maybe just a good review if it works out & helps you. And yes, if you’re getting out of the openings because you’ve memorized some stuff then blunder pieces, are not sure what to do next or how to respond to your opponent’s moves... your intuition is correct. Having some other eyes looking over what you’re doing can really help.

Hello all,
I have been playing chess for about 8 months now. Have been hovering around 1200 ELO for about a month now and can’t seem to get better than this. I’m studying opening Sicilian, London, Caro- Kann. Etc. but my mid-game play seems to fall apart with hanging pieces and failed tactics.
i would love to get into a 2000+ ELO bracket and enjoy chess a bit more and not completely stress all the time about what to do. Any help would be absolutely great. I’d love to pay someone to teach me but times are very hard and I don’t have the funds to do so at this time. I don’t want to give up on chess because I love it, but I do want to get better.
