I don't know about the iOS phones but I just checked and lessons are working on the Android app on my phone.
You can also try the Chrome browser to view lessons on an Android phone.

There is a "Report Problems" link in app settings. It is best way to let the app developers know that you have a problem.

I think I should be allowed 3 lessons per week with my gold membership. I am not allowed any, zero. Is something malfunctioning? I am on a MBP running OS 10.11.6
