Why Iam not getting students
I think you need to keep at it. From what I can see, you only started posting in the forum 3 days ago.
Btw do you know if I can become verified coach by chesscom if I don't have any membership? I have filled the form.

Says you have to have an established rating from an over the board federation like FIDE.
Do you have that?
Yes Iam thinking to take membership if required for getting verified by chesscom
Do you have a rating from games playedover the board from a federation like FIDE?
Are you aware what does that looks like? I was about to ignore untill I noticed text down there. Btw no, I have played open tournaments online but not fide tournaments or any other federation, but I have seen people still getting listed though
Iam still not finding it out, am I doing something wrong or missing something, Iam even ready to drop the price by a big margin like 3-4$/week , will that be ok? 😕
Iam even ready to do first session for 1$ not free because I have faced enough time wasters, should I stop this too?
I would keep trying. Sooner or later, you’ll find somebody.
Meanwhile, people are always looking for free analysis here in the forum.
If they post their games, I sometimes try to help them. You could do that too. You can demonstrate your level by the analysis you offer and the suggestions that you make.
Actually I made a forum where I offered a game and free analysis, got so much requests there but no one replied for coaching, still trying though thanx for replying talking to someone about this feels so relaxing
There is a lot of competition in coaching. Trust is a big factor. You have to build trust and an audience. Being titled already increases trust. Having a youtube channel is another one. Streaming can also increase trust etc.
I recently decided to coach beginners under 1200 for 5$/hour I looked everywhere in the forum you can check, I even offered a free session, why anyone is not interested? am I doing anything that I shouldn't? so annoying.
I have a question for you. I’m currently around 300 Elo. With this Elo rating, in your opinion, how long (in hours) would it take for someone at my level to reach 1200 Elo, given that ‘under 1200 Elo’ implies your aim is to help us reach 1200 Elo. When you’re at 300 Elo, you often make mistakes, you don’t spot checkmates, etc. I fully understand that this is a paid service and that you need to earn a living. But you have to put yourself in the student’s shoes. Over a week, at $5 an hour, for 3 hours a day, that’s $15. For a week, you multiply by 7, which makes $105. Multiply by 4, which gives $420 per month. Over a year, 420 × 12 = 5,040$ (This is assuming there are lessons every day, which, I admit, is a rather extreme scenario). In my case, I took out a premium subscription because I took advantage of Black Friday: the subscription price was halved; otherwise, I wouldn’t have done it.
I dont want to be that guy. 5$ an hour from an 1800 in chesscom is pretty expensive. Especially when you have not established a name for yourself. You know most people make around 10-15$ per hour, that means they have to spend around 35% of their paycheck to have an unknown teach them.
Furthermore, there are GMs like Danya who provide free educational videos on youtube. Its not that easy to get clients without having a name you know, sorry to break it to u
Yeah I'm not gonna start coaching until I'm titled. It's a bit insulting to charge money when you're untitled
Also you don't play OTB so you don't have much you can teach others I'm sorry

I agree, I don't know how to do that, I just think that I am good at explaining concepts and want to get noticed by someone who might be interested.
