Average costs. $$

I'd like to know how expensive can be to hire a teacher/mentor here.

It really depends on whether you want in person teaching or will be content to use something like Skype. And where you are. And what level you are. (Beginner or near master).

The only way to find out is to contact the coaches who are now listed here:

Chess.com changed the coach listings requirements back in 2015.

https://www.chess.com/article/view/how-to-become-a-coach-on-chess-com   They are supposedly verifying the ratings and identities of the people now listed on that page.

Unspecific "Average costs. $$ ", which could be about anything.
