can i seriously play to win high stakes gm master tournament level chess continuously with openings other than d4 or e4? is every opening truly sound except maybe a4 h4?

You might want to work on breaking 1000 before think about winning "high stakes gm/master" tournaments.

, the rating, your strength is what matters, I could beat a 1000 player with any opening, most of them at least I belive
