Do any of you experiencing the ajax error use drupal search as a firefox addon?

I do not use that addon and still get (got) the error (just cancelled my premium).

I do not use drupal search.  It happens the same for me on Macs and PC's using Safari, Firefox, Chrome... still happening today.  Also, I tried using the "Windows 98" looking button and it did not help.  Thanks for trying though, I appreciate all the help.

erik

we found the issue. we're working on it!

Thank you Erik!  I can't wait to learn more!

I'm still having this problem.  I'm running Ubuntu 11.10 and Firefox.

Im also getting the AJAX error. After I make a move on the chess mentor I get the pop up. I've tried using Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome, but I get the same problem. I'm using 64-bit Windows 7 OS. I tried to use it yesterday and gave up and then tried again today, but I can't get past the first one. Ill move the piece and then the error occurs. I kept trying to retry, but I get the error everytime. I've disabled the pop-up blocker for chess.com and I still get error.

Same problem here.  64 bit Windows 7 and IE 8.  Is there a fix for this??

I'm experiencing this same Ajax error issue (which seemed to occur over 3 yrs ago in the beginning of this thread:

An error occurred during AJAX Response parsing.

The error response will appear in a new popup.

---this occurs when I try to finish my last correct move in one of the mentor lessons, thus I can't complete any lesson nor track my progress.  I'm assuming like previous users, this problem may occur in other areas of the website.

I just purchased a diamond membership 15 min. ago and hope this is something you can resolve promptly.  I tried downloading google chrome instead of my usual safari browser, the issue occurs in both browsers.

Please help,

I am having the same problem on my mac, on Safari, Firefox, and Chrome.  Whenever I give a correct answer to a chess mentor puzzle, I get an AJAX runtime error.  Please help!

I am awsome already. I took the first lesson and on my first try checkmated black, froze chess mentor and now I can't play lesson 1 or any others. Tried a couple browsers. Chess mentor is why I'm here. I don't know wheter to buy the program or the subscription but sure doesn't look like a subscription is the answer at this point.

itraced it a little further. I got a server side error, 500 I believe. I have some javascript debugging on firefox. I'll see if I can get closer.

I too am getting this only when signed in. First  i noticed a couple posts but then I saw a whole string of get events session key going to meebo.com. They just keep timing out one after the other. Below are my parameters and headers for one of the attempts. Perhaps user Id is not being passed properly? I could grab a header off the msimm get if that will help.

I had a similar problem on one of the calls to msimm.com It does not time out:

I tried pausing my firewall and antivirus. They often get distracted by sites and scripts outside of the main site. It did not work and they do not appear very suspicous anyhow which lead me to think these sites are being passed parameters with a hiccup in their syntax.
