A guy came to my Chess club in West Orange, NJ and although he did not want to give his real name, he said, "Just call me "Mittens". He seemed to be a nice guy (a bit odd, perhaps) but did not want to be on the mailing list. I mentioned that chess.com had a blog entitled "Mittens is gone". He laughed and said that he would be back on the site. I assume that he lives in NJ. A good Chessplayer based on his 5 minute prowess. Could he be an imposter and just goofing? Who knows?
