He may be referring to the fact that Bush didn't get the majority of the popular vote in 2000, meaning that "Americans" as a people never actually voted him to be president - some electoral dudes did it instead, and they chose differently. There's democracy for you...

Is it possible for you to teach me this great line that is 1. a4!! ? I have tried to study your PGN files on the Chess forums but I just can't wrap my head around it. The part about forced moves and pancreatic cancer is hard to understand if you've never opened your mind to such great ideas.
