Yeah that's a sound move. Seems like a perfectly reasonable way to get d7-d5 in one move. I'm assuming white will now make a play for e5 with 4.Bb5 or 4.d4. I guess if you are thinking about playing this line, you should think about how to deal with those moves.

I figured f5 was a blunder.
if ur playing against a well prepared opponent, then u r gonna suffer A LOT! and even if ur opponenet doesnt know theory, white s position is easier to play. my advice for u, as an EX nimzo player, avoid this variation in real games. maybe just play it in blitz if u want.
