I quit that game because Optimissed kept insulting me and screaming at me for not moving fast enough. That’s what happens when you don’t respect your opponent enough to behave like a decent human being.

It's no use for us mere mortals to try and refute the one and only staples13. From that position, staples13 has calculated a mate in 89 due to the weakness on c7 that black so carelessly blundered on the first move.

Uh... it was because Staples was playing against a much higher player... that explains why he lost a won position...

The Alapin does NOT refute the Sicilian because it DEVIATES from the main lines of the Sicilian. It is an anti-Sicilian opening. ☝️☝️☝️

Uh... What if Caruana plays the Alapin? He should try.

Get some analysis up here instead of repeadedly claiming Staples is wrong without any evidence.
