U showed your own analysis, with some nonsense and bad moves from black which don't prove anything.

U just proved u lack some objectivity and skill to assess moves/positions.

I encourage you all to join. The link is below.

So what?

So, he is higher rated than you! Plus, if you ask any GM, they will say that the Sicilian is not refuted

Avatar of ChessProMasterGZ

And only like 3 people support you in your notes but 10+ side against you

Avatar of snacktime10101

who cares if your score is high! my score playing black with the Sicilian in OTB is 70%. plus I played a buncha GMs and IMs in it! so t=does that mean e4 is busted? no because I play e4 too and against the Sicilian I win 70% of the time! so I say both openings are busted!

Avatar of ChessProMasterGZ

I say none of them are busted!

The only thing that was proven in the vast majority of the previous posts is that you are an idiot who cannot even troll properly.

Try out both sides of the Alapin, the white side of which championed by the OP, in this tournament...Hope to see you there!

Let's see those who claim the Sicilian is dead, or that it loses by force, prove it!

Playing the tournament and crushing all opposition with white would be more convincing than all this armchair argument.

Personally, I think after 1.e4 c5 2.c3 d5, black is okay.

This is highly unnoticed. This is the best way to fidht the Alapin Variation. Sadly this is less popular than many other moves.

Actually 5...Bf5! has a negative score for white if I'm not mistaken.

I’ll try that happy.png

42.75% winning percentage for white, so it's(5...Bf5) certainly better than the most common reply, 5...Bg4, which has 55% winning percentage for white.

And LOL! Chess isn't even solved, so how can you say a certain opening is busted? Prove to me that the Sicilian is busted by Alapin by showing a mathematical solution to that! And actually statistics doesn't say a certain opening is busted. An example is the Sodium Attack, which has very high percentage(about 76%) but bad opening.

Bf5? thats interesting I might take up the d5 line again after seeing that

@staples13 2 IMs are against you and I have a high rate with both KP and Sicilian they're not refuted.

For your information see my ongoing game against some 1200 in daily he has only a king left and I have a rook and pawn.

Here's a good line against Alapin:

The only thing proven here is that you cannot defend your thesis of the Sicilian is not refuted, and therefore, this guy isn’t relevant to the argument.

Just to say:

In a recent tournament I was pretty much lost in the opening when I faced the Alapin. Didn’t have much chance, was facing an 1850, and I just couldn’t defend.

Because it gives White +0.7 on FishStock, unless I can’t read properly.

You don't even know it's called Stockfish.
