This is hilarious... :D
a chess opening I developed (no one uses it)

well, "the King's Assualt" is one name for it i suppose (better perhaps might be "the patzer's charge," "beginner's shame," etc. etc.)
but if this is serious then among other things your opponent missed 9. Qe5# :P
beginners shame sounds right and yeah he did. but it was a lot of fun i'm glad he missed it even if he had won later on.

yeah he pretty much had me no matter what I did after I took the knight. (btw I don't actually use that "kings assault" that was first attempt I'm kidding, this was more like i'm tired and idc about my rating.")

lol, a few years back in a corr. game I had my G-file open so in the middle game I charged my king all the way to my opponents 7th rank and won

It's the bongcloud, but only halfway.
The full bongcloud is about gaining control of the center by solely your king.

Agreed, 'tis the bongcloud attack with colours reversed where white trades a tempo for rapid development. I'm sorry to dissapoint your fun but the opening was developed by somebody else and quite a lot of people use it. Here's a closer look at bongcloud variations:

I call it the Kings Assault.
