Yes, I could play 6. Be2 or 6.Be3, which would avoid this.

I am certainly no expert on the poisoned pawn, I don't play the Najdorf with black, and until a few weeks ago I never faced this with white. In the last few weeks I faced it twice. With no knowledge whatsoever, I blindly followed theory in chess.com's book right into a drawn line. This happened in 2 different games (games shown below) and 2 different ending positions. Is the poisoned pawn filled with many drawn lines? I hope people will post disagreeing with me because I would hate to think I can't play the white side of this anymore.
