Against Caro Kann the Panov attack is best! 1.e4-c6 2.d4-d5 3.exd5-cxd5 4.c4!

HatePositionalChess

I believe the main feature of Panov Attack is the rook lift but untill the h4! move there are way too many ways for Black too deviate...

I tried the Fried Liver sometime ago dont like it. White has nothing after d5 exd5 Na5!

The Parham looks insane.

LoveYouSoMuch

i have also played the parham with good results.

it shouldn't give any objective advantage, but you do get a "ZOMGWAITWHAT" look from your opponent and then you can work from there :D bonus points if your opponent isn't particularly fond of fianchetto formations.

All openings can be played aggressively or more slowly.

If you're a tactical player and you hate positional chess,, then probably u will lose more game to a more positional style of players. in my opinion..

AKJett

1.d4 nf6 2.c4 e5 is not that great for white... my 2000 opp was staring at me for like 5 minutes (probably thinking- What??? How can he do that???) and then entered an endgame that he was a pawn down (I managed to lose- I suck)

Only too very strong positional players. That is why I am trying to find best openings for Tactical play.

For instance if you play Kings Gambit against a positional player even the declined lines are pretty agreesive. The best reply is Falkmore Gambit where a player who does not have experience of tactical positions will lose even after the magnificent 2...d5!

What I am trying to say is Tactical and Positional chess are two different things. None is better then the other but how good are the players playing it is the important thing.

I think Tactical and Positional chess should be combined together. They are different but always you should be good at both. Tactics will work for you if you will play a very good positional game. Also, you will have a sound positonal manuevres by watching for tactics the opponents may use to you.
