if you see it coming, move the nb1 to a3. the knight will defend c2.

Na3 is rarely a good move. If they are ganging up on c2 there is often an easier defence as nobody does it except on really low levels of chess. I wanted example games from the OP.
pawn on d3 and knight on c3 and you should be fine
